Hey Scott or somebody. I am starting to learn scales(started bass playing this year) and….how do i know what notes belongs in each scale? Of course i can read somewhere but is there any particular rule/order or is it just random?
Great lesson as always! Opened up my mind for practicing! Question: Why do people like fender basses/guitars? Makes no sense to me….they’re so plain and boring looking. I have a Rick 4003 and a Sterling Ray, now those are stylish basses x)
Is that a nate mendel signature precision bass?
sounds cool .
Would you consider it smarter to begin by learning the scales by positions, or by individual strings, or both?
I wish you can go a bit slower :/ and maybe have some notes pop up.
I love these lessons, but when you said “a Fort night”…that made me laugh. maybe cause I’m an American, and I never hear that here. keep thumpin. 🙂

How much was this bass ? I’m planning on buying a P bass (:
Thank you
Great Lesson, I felt my brain growing because I was able to see how to view the bass in a different direction other than vertical.
